Day 1: Cusco – Moray – Maras – Ollantaytambo (3 to 4 hours trek)
Bus Departure from Cusco at 7am, pick-up at your respective hotel
Transportation from Cusco to the archaeological site of Moray. A hike from Moray to the salt mines of Maras-considered to be a gradual decline and a very enjoyable trek.
After lunch you arrive by bus to the town of Ollantaytambo, an archaeological complex and open-air museum alive with energy. This beautiful place was the original stronghold against Conquistadores before Machu Picchu. There are temples of the sun made from megalithic stones. Ñusta basin is an example of Inca Cosmo vision of the three worlds.
Dinner at the Lomada Lodge, from 6 persons, we offer a traditional Andean dinner known as the famous Pachamanca: meat, cheese, vegetable and potatoes slowly cooked over hot stones in an oven built underground. The night will be enjoyed on the banks of the Vilcanota River under the stars while enjoying a lively outdoor bonfire.
Day 2: Camping Lodge Ollantaytambo

Transfer to train or bus station. Tour service ends here
* There is an option to visit Machu Picchu or come back to Cusco
Note: If you want to visit the sites of Moray and Ollantaytambo without entering, we can take you to a lookout platform with an overview of both archaeological sites.(No BTG for Ollantaytambo -Moray)
